Just wondering if exporting a file in final cut (or any program) will degrade the quality of the file. I have been exporting as .mov and only do this because my computer tends to get gummed up by too many projects in final cut...so...i normally export and delete after finishing a scene, and...

I really love putting films together...I guess that's how I think of the process...it's like a material thing...perfect a shot, know where and how it fits in...sort of like working a puzzle...i find that whether i'm on a set with a budget or just f'ing around in the living room with clamp lights...

I've been looking into getting a Canon WD-H58W .7x wide angle converter for my Vixia HF G10 because it seems that I can't actually put a different lens on the camera. Does this just seem like a work-around? Would I be better off getting a camera I can put an actual wide angle lens on? Thoughts?
