check out studentfilmmakers.com (or maybe .org) they used to sell films via their site and must have a portal that allows them to make deals with filmmakers not yet of legal age....

A reputable sales agent will offer a contract that pays him 10% of gross sales (after APPROVED expenses) for all media/territories. A caution - if you start selling territories on your own (which is fine and a good way to make money if you will be able to exploit all markets) your project...

yes, crzybkhd makes a lot of sense. you cannot deal direct w/blockbuster and hollywood - they buy from wholesale distributors, who buy from aggregators or studios, who may buy from you. everyone needs a piece. you can self-distribute or start a small company, but you'll need more than 6 films...

You can create this business via an on-demand set-up (see CustomFlix). That way you do not need thousands of copies as suggested in another post. DVDs are only made when you sell one. You do need a marketing budget and time however. And you might want to find several other films to lower the...

It really isn't a big deal if you are sending to reputable companies. We are not in the business to rip off filmmakers (not all of us). I get 25 screeners a week, and some have a watermark, some don't. I'm just looking for good films to sell. We have a reputation to uphold if we want to continue...
