well the thing about resizing the clip is that the black borders dont show up in the projects sequence preview. spatula i'll give that one a shot though.

In Adobe Premiere + New Problem Questions... a) when i start a new project why is the standard at 720x480 rather than 640x480? b) when i export the clip, now i set it up so that the clip takes away exactly the entire sequence, but i have black borders all around my clip. so does the sequence...

ok, now i've fixed the hard drive speed. it's on point now. but what is wrong with transfering clips. see when i used to transfer videos, i didn't get all of these lines, what could be the problem? how come i've got all these error lines in the picture? is it really just the camera recording...

serious? the only reason i went with adobe premiere was because of the premiere -vs- avid thread in this forum, saying it doesn't make a difference. well what do you do in avid to make it look more like that? maybe somebody in here knows his way around both softwares, and can translate the name...
