An inexpensive way to get excellent coverage of a motorcycle races is to mount a Go Pro HD camera to the bike and cut to those shots that the camera gets as a perspective of one of the riders. Then have a secondary camera filming the race it self from afar. Here is the link to GO Pro cameras...
