Correct me if I'm wrong, but due to YouTube's recent change in copyright policy, I think I'm within legal right of using the music. YouTube now recognizes copyright claims and generates view revenue for the label per views, rather than simply flagging/muting or potentially blocking the video...

Probably good to add another update that I submitted this film for the NYU Tisch Film School Application and was admitted! Both incredible film schools, but I have to choose one, and I'm going to be attending USC in the fall to study screenwriting and directing.

UPDATE: I submitted this film for the USC Cinematic Arts application, and was recently offered admission as an undergrad for the fall. I know many people have reserved feelings on film school, but I thought that was cool to share. More content coming soon.

Mic was always close to the actor. I think another problem was that we shot this in a very echoey, white room. I don't have too much sound experience. I thought the best move would be to turn down the recording sensitivity to pick up less echo. I figured the male lead would be delivering his...

Yeah, I think there was a loose cord from the mic to the zoom, creating a static fuzz that drowned out the dialogue when I bumped up the DBs. Not sure how I could've cleanly fixed it in post, it was just a screw up during production. I agree the audio isn't good, but I don't think it harms this...
