Are you pitching a script to a studio? What exactly are you doing? What was the last film you made?

If you already have a meeting set-up, wht do you need an agent for.

I will say "congrats", but I will also say be careful with this festival. Thay have a history. Do some internet research, and you will see what I mean. Whatever you do, stop giving them money. I'm sure it's a great film. Good luck!

This site is the best. The other sites are packed with nonsense threads and little valuable info. I've been on them all.

Non-profit doesn't mean you don't have to pay for the rights. In fact, it has no bearing at all. Same a for-profit. Why don't you try and see how much it will cost to use it? I think it's about $700. Contact BMI or ASCAP.

Very hard to start up a respected successful festival. What is your motivation? To make a profit? To expose a certain audience to international or independent films? The first 5 years will be tough. As a festival you have to earn a reputation.
