It's not that I don't expect people to give opinions its just that wigger is a bit harsh of a word. very insulting. I would have rather just hurd you didn't care for the song or even you...
My first word of advice would be you need to do a better job of lining up your video with your audio. The lip syncing is all off. The camera work isn't bad. But I don't like that diffusion type glow you applied to it. I think just a clean crisp color effect would have been more effective.
I know some of you may not like the type of music, but isn't that irrelevant here? I mean this is a forum for film making. My client was a rapper and a pretty good one. He's not a gangbanger and hes not a gangster rapper. So calling him a wigger is a bit out of line in my opinion. I wouldn't...
Man I just watched the color video. I'd love to chat about color concepts with you some time. eriksoderquist84@gmail.com is my e-mail. You did an amazing job with the mood and feel. What program did you use to apply the color?
Great work. I like the color correction alot. The flow and shots are real nice. You should have way more views on youtube. You should try getting some blogs to feature the music. Especially like some indie music type blogs.
FCP has color correction tools just like photoshop but they do not produce the same quality of effect. Think about it this way. A movie is really 1,000's of still pictures. Photoshop is made for photo correction. You can do way better looking effects in photoshop then you can do with the same...
Yeh that effect is the Vignette. Because of a Time restraint I was forced to do my color correction and effects inside FCP 7. Which sucks. Normally I would have batched out each of my un-edited clips into still frames and then ran them through Adobe Photo shop. Then it would have looked way...
I think the video is fine. There is no reason why this ad wouldn't be great for a network that doesn't want to air such a racy promo. The color correction does look good too. I wish I would have taken more time on my last projects color but yeh good job. The DSLR camera's like the 7d kick ass...
