Although it did not get into as many festivals as I hoped it would, I’m very proud and satisfied of the work we all did on this. It was a huge learning experience for me, and watching it premiere on the big screen at my hometown festival in front of family and friends was a dream come true.

This was the first short film I’ve completed. The first short I attempted was too big in scope for me to complete, so I knew I needed to dial it back. After reading a few dozen scripts, I chose this script because of how contained it was. Two characters, one location (another location was added in rewrites). The twist ending was an added bonus.

If you want to direct movies, start by making shorts immediately. Yes, you will make mistakes. Yes, your first film or two might not be any good. However, the more shorts you make, the more you’ll learn and become a better filmmaker. It will make you appreciate all aspects of the filmmaking process.
I’d love to know your overall thoughts! I’ll take any note or suggestion, good or bad.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Thanks for watching! We all greatly appreciate it.

I read the script on Script Revolution and I liked it, I didn't like the film as much. I take my hat off to you for getting it made and hopefully one day someone will make one of mine but I just don't think the film was as good as the screenplay.

I didn't like the fact we saw him taking pics at the beginning, I think that would have been better as a flashback when he handed her the Polaroid. I also think his bag should have been on the floor out of shot. Maybe I'm thinking like that because I read the script first so knew what he was doing taking the pic.

Very good short film, with a gripping plotline and satisfying payoff. The sound/lighting/acting were really great.

Awesome for your first short film.
